Distillerie Saint-Gervais Mont-Blanc

The Distillerie de Saint Gervais is a unique and authentic small cabin! A visit to the distillery or a tasting of one of its spirits is now one of the must-dos during your stay in Saint Gervais!

An artisanal mountain distillery that supplies prestigious establishments throughout France with its unique spirits ! James Abbott, a Scot, moved to Saint Gervais in 2017. He quickly built his distillery in the mountains. It operates with two copper pot stills, each with a capacity of 100 litres! That's 135 bottles per distillation! Today, the distillery's iconic product is le Gin du Mont Blanc. A product appreciated and recognised by mixologists, chefs and sommeliers across the country. Le Whisky du Mont Blanc is the talk of the town! Batches of around 450 bottles are released every two years. In 2025, the distillery pulled out all the stops, launching three new products: Vodka du Mont Blanc and two génépis, Génépi du Mont Blanc Zéro Sucre and Génépi du Mont Blanc aux fraises.
