From the Méribel Village shuttle stop, walk past the pretty Chapelle Saint Sébastien and straight up the lane that leads to the start of the path to Le Blanchot and the Altiport. You can return with the shuttle bus or the Golf chairlift.
Starting from Méribel-Village (located 2 km from downtown Méribel), walk past the Saint Sébastien Chapel, which is part of the Méribel Valley’s themed trail, the “Chapel Trail.”
At the top of the alley, you’ll quickly gain elevation; once you reach the reservoirs, you’ll see Méribel-Village at your feet, and the mountain peaks will gradually come into view.
Further up lies the magnificent Plaigny plateau, from which you can see the summit of the Dent de Burgin behind the spruce trees.
Continue climbing through the forest to reach “Le Blanchot” higher up; from there, you can choose to take the shuttle back or continue on to the final stop at the Altiport.
Trails could be slippery, depending on condition.
Ask at the tourist office or take crampons and poles.
