Walking route to La Chapelle du Bozelet from the top of the gondola lift

From the top of the cable car, explore the southern slope of Champagny en Vanoise via Les Combes to reach the summit of Mont de la Guerre and the Bozelet Chapel. Enjoy a magnificent panoramic view.

Return via the Champagny-en-Vanoise gondola.

1/ Take the gondola (depending on operating days and times).

2/ At the top of the gondola (1970m), take the path that climbs slightly to the right before continuing almost flat to the Chalet des Verdons Sud.

4/ Continue along a path that skirts the mountain below the summit of Mont de la Guerre (alt. 2150m).

5/ A sign indicates "Chapelle du Bozelet" on the right. Continue along this path to the Chapelle du Bozelet (alt. 2276m).

6/ Return via a track that runs along the ridge. 1st fork to the left to join the path that runs under Mont de la Guerre.

7/ Pass near Les Verdons Sud and follow the signs to the gondola.

8/ Return with the gondola.
