Description
From Les Communailles, set off on a beautiful escape through snow-covered forests and alpine pastures towards the top of the La Croix chairlift, just below Mont Joux.
The climb begins gently under the trees before opening out onto the wide open spaces of Grand Montaz. The route then winds its way back through the forest to reach the heights, offering spectacular views of Mont Blanc and the surrounding mountains.
For the descent, take the Orgères ski run to Les Communailles, where you can enjoy the sun on the terrace.
