Itinéraire de ski de randonnée alpin - Le Bettex / Sous les Freddys

An accessible and varied route, ideal for ski touring enthusiasts looking for an outing in the heart of nature with breathtaking views of Mont Blanc.

Starting from the Bettex snow front, take the cross-country ski trail on the left towards Les Communailles and pass in front of the ESF snow garden. The route quickly leaves the groomed trail to climb into the Crêt Mortet forest. If you pass by the Arbois chairlift departure station, you are on the right track! Carefully follow the trail on its left-hand side, then enter the forest and you will soon reach a clearing that leads to the magnificent Sous les Freddys mountain pasture and its traditional chalet. Take in the panoramic view of Mont Blanc. It's time to head back down! Take the right track, or you'll find yourself climbing again. Cross the Michel Dujon black run on flat ground to reach the Chateluy green run a few metres further on. Return to the Bettex snow front where several establishments await you for a well-deserved drink.
