Easy Walking Tour: Les Mottets

A great network of easy footpaths over the whole of Les Mottets Leisure Centre, located to the South of the Lac du Bourget.

Base de loisirs des Mottets offers the whole family landscaped areas with vast lawns for picnics, areas reserved for barbecues, and an observation area dedicated to our local turtle species: the cistude.
The site also offers two beaches with exceptional views over the 18 km of Lac du Bourget.
From here, you can also reach the hamlet of Terre Nue, with its restaurants, for another lakeside walk close to the lake.

The Les Mottets beach has a fee and is supervised during the summer season.

From one of the two parking areas, enter the site and complete the site walk loop in complete peace and quiet. Take the time to observe the cistude turtles and birds on the central pond.
