Description

Starting from the Grand Port d'Aix les Bains, this walk will take you alongside France's largest natural lake. The itinerary is suitable for all-comers, in particular the elderly and families with young children in buggies.
During this walk along the edge of the vagabond garden, the pond will attract young and old alike. You might even spot some batrachians. The route is dotted with magnificent views of France's largest natural lake and its surrounding mountains. You'll learn about the preservation of the lake environment and its flora and fauna. You'll walk along the water's edge. The comfortable walk ends at the Maison de la Roselière, which has been converted into a nesting box for birds and bats. The final part of the walk, on pontoons, takes you to the Pointe de l'Ardre.
