This cycling tour, with its mild altimetric profile, takes you through three valleys in the historic cradle of the Baronnies provençales.
After a short climb to the Col de Macuègne (alt 1068 m), you'll plunge into the village of Barret-de-Lioure and the Montbrun-les-Bains valley. A few hairpin bends later, you'll reach Montbrun-les-Bains, renowned for both its thermal baths and the beauty of its medieval village. You then head north along the road to the Toulourenc gorges, greeting the crenellations of the Château d'Aulan before climbing the small pass of the same name. Finally, under the perched remains of the ancient fort of the Barons of Mévouillon, you continue your loop before concluding it by passing through Villefranche-le-Château and its famous lime trees.
