Souleymane Ag Anara is committed to preserving and promoting the cultural heritage of the desert’s nomadic peoples, notably the Tuareg, Fulani and Amazigh.

A Malian photojournalist and documentary filmmaker specialising in the Sahel and the Sahara, Souleymane Ag Anara has worked with Reuters, AFP, France 24, TV5MONDE, Arte, Al Jazeera and Jeune Afrique. His photographic work straddles the line between documentary and artistic expression.
