One summer evening, Suzanne, accompanied by her two young children, pays an impromptu visit to her sister Jeanne. Jeanne is taken aback. Not only have they not seen each other for several months, but Suzanne seems to be in a daze. When she wakes up, Jeanne is stunned to discover the note left by her sister. Her shock gives way to anger when she learns from the police that no search can be launched: Suzanne has made the senseless choice to disappear...
