Description
To mark the European Heritage Days, the Mont d'Arbois Observatory is opening its doors for the weekend with a wide range of events.
All weekend long, come and immerse yourself in the fascinating world of astronomy with the association's volunteers:
- Free access to the observatory from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Tour of the observatory and discovery of the instruments, with discussions and exchanges with experienced amateur astronomers (approx. 1h)
- If the weather is fine, observation of the sun
- short films to illustrate the concepts of distance and time in astronomy
- description of the main celestial bodies (galaxies, nebulae, etc.)
