Fête des Bucherons

This day will be filled with various competitions, activities and live music, as well as a flea market and an antiques market. The thermal park’s little train will also be running, much to the delight of children and adults alike.

The funds raised during the day will be donated to three charities:

the Regional Breast Cancer Association;
the National Association for Police Orphans;
a local association, which will be selected at the general meeting in the autumn.

Programme:

• All day: live music by Estelle Musique.
• 5:30 a.m.: set-up of the large flea market and antiques market (100 exhibitors).
• 6:30 a.m.: arrival of the first bargain hunters.
• 11:00 a.m.: activities and demonstrations by the CRS Mountain Rescue team from CNEAS (National Centre for Mountaineering and Ski Training) in Les Houches.
• 12:00 p.m.: meals, food stalls and refreshments.
• 2:00–5:30 p.m.: lumberjack competition.
• 2:30 p.m.: speech by Jean-Marc Peillex, Mayor of Saint-Gervais.
• 5:45 p.m.: prize-giving ceremony.
