Description

Inspired by the late Claude Moliterni, co-founder of the Angoulême Festival, this event explores the relationship between cartoon strips and new types of image.
With 78 albums and ten special issues from 1963 to 2010, the detective reporter created in 1955 by André-Paul Duchâteau and Tibet in the pages of the newspaper Tintin was an icon of the 9th Art when the publishing house Le Lombard decided to relaunch the series in 2015 with scriptwriter ZIDROU and illustrator Simon VAN LIEMT. "Les Nouvelles Enquêtes de Ric Hochet" has since established itself as one of the best adaptations of major series, retaining the original spirit while modernising it. This new success, too, has already seen the two authors pen 7 opuses. Simon VAN LIEMT will be signing the poster for the 18th edition of this major comics event in Aubenas. He will be taking part in book signings and a conference, while an exhibition will feature the covers of "Nouvelles Enquêtes de Ric Hochet"'s comics with research drawings. He will be joined by around thirty other authors on a panel open to all comics genres: Franco-Belgian, graphic, documentary, children's, manga, etc. This year's line-up will include Loïc BALLET, food commentator on France 2's Télématin programme, who has produced an anti-junk food book with his father Patrick. As well as comic book fans, some of whom will be coming from far and wide, the workshops and activities for children make this festival a family affair. Admission is free and no registration is required for any of the activities on offer. **Practical informations *** Free entrance ! No inscription needed for the worshops.
