Timothée Parrique is a researcher in ecological economics at the University of Lausanne in Switzerland. He holds a PhD in economics and specializes in the relationship between economics and the environment, degrowth, and post-capitalist theories. He is the author of Slow Down or Perish: The Economics of Degrowth (2022), a book based on his doctoral thesis, The Political Economy of Degrowth (2019), and is currently working on a new book on economic utopias.
