14th July Fireworks

Every year the national day ends beautifully with a firework display from a barge on Lake Geneva. The town's lights are extinguished to give pride of place to the magic of the pyrotechnical colours in the Evian sky.

Program: 9:30am: Gathering of officials, companies, groups and the general public in Place des Anciens-Combattants. 9:45am: Parade through town (rue Nationale, avenue Jean-Léger, place du Port). 10am: Ceremony at the war memorial, wreath-laying and address by Josiane LEI, Mayor of Evian. 10:30am: Vin d'honneur offered by the municipality to officials, groups and companies. 10:30 pm: Fireworks display on the lake, opposite the Casino. In conjunction with the ceremonies : - Fireworks cruise aboard the Savoie. Boarding at pontoon de la Mouche, 9pm, return around 11:30pm Ticket office: www.barquelasavoie.com
