A lovely, easily accessible lake, 1 hour's walk from the resort centre or 10 minutes by gondola.

The Malatrai lake has been redesigned for summer 2023 and is easily accessible. It's just a 1-hour walk from the resort centre. You can take the Pierrafort gondola and walk just 5 minutes to reach it. So it's accessible to everyone. It's not forbidden to swim there, but the type of water doesn't really invite it. You'll be delighted to contemplate the magnificent views from this magical spot: Mont Blanc, the Lauzière massif and the entire Morel and Nâves valleys. Educational panels on the flora and fauna have been set up to help you learn more about the area and respect its environment. Picnic tables are set up all around, as well as a small climbing rock. Please bring your rubbish back to the station to be sorted.
