Summit of La Cime Caron
Description
Cime Caron (3195 m) in Val Thorens is one of the iconic peaks of the world's largest ski area, Les 3 Vallées.
From the summit, you can enjoy breathtaking 360° views of the peaks of the French, Italian and Swiss Alps, with the iconic Mont-Blanc in the background. Notable mountain ranges include Mont Brequin, La Meije, Les Aiguilles d'Arves and the Chavière and Bouchet glaciers.
Inaugurated at the end of 2022, the Cime Caron panoramic footbridge invites you to a unique experience: a rotunda suspended in mid-air, offering a spectacular view of the resort and the majestic surrounding peaks.
A transparent central shaft allows you to observe the void beneath your feet, while the names of the mountains are engraved on the windows. It's a fun and educational way to learn how to recognise the peaks, and to answer the question with confidence: "Is that Mont-Blanc?
