Glacier de Bionnassay

The glacier of Bionnassay (430 hectares) is the smallest of the great glaciers of the French side of the Mont Blanc. This glacier has a length of almost 5 km, AND ends between two mighty lateral moraines.

The hameau du Bionnassay located 1320m above sea level at the foot of the glacier is a privileged site. On the way GR5, the Royal Route to the Mont Blanc, but also from the neck or to the top of Bellevue, this site offers an exceptional panorama, for walkers and visitors.
