Description

acrylic paint spray can Face to face, masked man/fox, they're part of the same world. She denounces man's negative impact on nature and the animal kingdom.
Graffmatt is a painter based in Chambéry. Born into a family of artists and drawing from an early age, drawing has a predominant place in his artistic work. Amok loves working with color. He also likes to divert subjects from their initial context, mixing reflection and imagination. This fresco proposed by the artist duo resonates with that of the heron "L'étang change" (p4). It denounces man's negative impact on nature and the animal kingdom. With the question "So who's the strongest?", the fresco evokes the confrontation between man and nature, the fact that nature is powerful and that man is ultimately powerless against it. The use of puppets illustrates the fact that man has power over animals and vice versa. We're all part of the same world, whatever our species, and wearing masks illustrates this point. Covering 90 m², the work required some fifteen liters of acrylic, as well as fifty paint cans and just as many hours of labor. Realized in 2021 by Amok and Graffmatt
