The highest hut in France, at 3835 m above the sea level, on the most crowded way to Mont Blanc.

Alpinists who have not booked will not be let inside the hut! Please do not take that risk! Climbing the Mont Blanc is something that you need to prepare in advance; booking a night of rest in the hut is part of that process so please make a reservation. If the hut is full, postpone your ascent to another day. CAMPING AND BIVOUACKING Like previous years, any form of camping is forbidden by ministerial decree in the classified area of the Mt Blanc, including bivouacking. This year, public authorities will implement an enforcement regime to ensure this will not happen. However, you may camp on the base camp of Tête Rousse (50 tents maximum). Please inform the Tête Rousse hut warden if you wish to camp.
